Noah DeMeis

My work expands on the definition of what a robot is, arguing that a robot is not defined by its metal exterior but by the intent behind its creation. I think of a robot as a being whose existence was fabricated by another with the intent of performing a specific function. I explore this concept by reimagining robots from science fiction through the lens of my intuitive drawing process. These works present a spectrum, ranging from organic, half organic, half mechanical, and fully mechanical.
