The "Dragon's Horde" Manor
I have always had a love for cluttered, homely spaces. Rooms that feel warm and inviting; filled with items that tell you about the personality of the person who decorated them. A home should look lived in with little pieces of ourselves scattered throughout. It is this core value that was the basis for this piece. I set out to create a space that told you about the people who live there without them being present. The “Dragon’s Horde” Manor is home to a cast of original characters I have been developing with my friends for just under a decade. Creating and collaborating on this world and its characters is one of my greatest joys. The Manor is home to a host of different characters that conflict at times but still cohabitate. I wanted to bring a part of their home to life, and I chose to showcase the rooms where these different personalities clash the most. The kitchen, living room, and dining room are where any family can come together and coexist, where bellies become full and laughter rises to a crescendo. This is not just the lair of a criminal organization but a home.
